ARC Reader Terms & What to Expect
Thank you for being part of the Oathbound ARC team. ARC readers are an important part of how indie books find their audience, and I truly appreciate you being here.
Here is what being an ARC reader means.
What you receive
If you are accepted as an ARC reader, you will receive a free advance digital copy of Oathbound before it is released to the public so you can read it early.
This copy is for your personal use only. It may not be shared, uploaded, forwarded, or distributed in any form.
Reviews
ARC readers are welcome to leave an honest review when the book officially launches, but reviews are always optional.
If you choose to leave a review:
Reviews should reflect your honest opinion, whether positive, mixed, or critical.
Amazon reviews are the most helpful, but reviews on Goodreads or other platforms are also welcome.
Reviews should be based on a genuine reading experience and should not contain major spoilers.
ARC copies do not count as purchases. To leave an Amazon review, you may need to borrow the book through Kindle Unlimited or purchase it after release. This is an Amazon policy and is not controlled by the author.
Formatting or content issues
If you notice typos, formatting problems, or technical issues, please report them privately rather than posting about them publicly.
Intellectual property
All content in Oathbound remains the intellectual property of the author. ARC copies may not be altered, reproduced, sold, or distributed in any form.
Respectful conduct
ARC readers agree to communicate respectfully and not engage in harassment, bullying, or hostile behavior toward the author or other readers.
If plans change
If you sign up and later find that you cannot read or review in time, that is okay. There is no obligation and no penalty.
Thank you for supporting indie authors and for choosing to be part of Oathbound’s release.
